July 1-15, 2001 Your Nation's Symbols
On the 4th of July, the United States will celebrate its Independence Day.
The central part of this celebration will be the American Flag. Our flag is
a symbol of our country that we are very proud of.
Every nation in the world chooses symbols, officially and unofficially, to
represent it and unite its people. These symbols come in the form of crests,
flags, statues, animals, flowers and many other things.
The challenge is to create a replica of a national (or state) symbol that
stirs you.
