I have been using Photo Impact for some time now, however never utilized the many wonderful tools that it has. Thanks to the tutorials from Stephanie, Dawn, Mary Lou and others, I intend to try my wings. I hope you enjoy these graphics as much as I did in creating them.
I also have PSP and Blade Pro, as well as Adobe PS & Corel Draw 9. From time to time I'll be showing
you graphics designed with these great tools, as well.
If you like, feel free to use these graphics. I would appreciate a link back to my website, however. The URL
is http://www.reflectionshawaii.com.
I should have entitled this page my "Purple Page"...........

The minute I discovered the Custom Shape brush in Photo Impact 5.0, I decided to "doodle". What fun! This little cherub was created by using a custom brush shape, some lighting effects and filling in the hair with ringlets. I expanded the image by 20 pixels, used the Magic Wand and filled with one of my stained glass images (thanks to Spectrum Glass). I think it's wonderful that the entire angel is ONE shape. What could be easier? |

| Again, the flower in this graphic (everything in green) is a custom shape brush. I added the little buds with
the elipse-shaped brush, using a lavender gradient. Just a simple matter to find a frame in the Frame Designer and a compatible color combination |

I have a dear friend named Charley. He has a fantastic collection of unique bar items (and a fully set up bar,
complete with mirrored globe suspended from the ceiling). If he were commercially inclined, this would be the name
of his establishment. When I had to cancel a visit to him, I did this quick creation. Again using the PI Custom Shape Brush in the shapes of the wine glass, leaves & flower, I had merely to paint with one of the preset gradients, add some text & shadows & a quick button effect. Voila! |
