Page Three ~
I tried following my FIRST tutorial, from Stephanie . Nothing like
putting the cart before the horse. I just purchased Photo Impact 5.0 and HAD to try this one. It involved totally
creating a teapot and saucer. (That was difficult enough for me.) I then decided to "play" with the background
for the teapot, so chose a background BMP file, used the PI Custom Brush Shape for the window effect.
I created a little wallpaper (Background Material Section) and I then blocked out a rectangle and filled it with a flowered background. Then the Clone Brush was used to create some irregularity of the flowers in the background. Next came a piece of wood that I rotated/cropped for the table for my teapot.
For the framing, I used the edge frame on the lower left image (I wanted an ethereal effect of "days gone by" and a more dramatic frame (suitable for a recipe page or invitation). Both were from the Web Frame Designer in PI.
This was really a challenge and helped me understand even more about the possibilities of this great program.
My sincere thanks to Stephanie for her time, the great tutorials, and sharing of her wonderful talents. I was just gonna send her the pictures to show her and decided that perhaps some other PI users would get some ideas.
