God, please take special care of this wonderful man who made so many so happy!

The Firefighter's Creed (Prayer)

When I am called to duty, God, whenever flames may rage give me strength to save a life whatever be its age.  Help me to embrace a little child before it is too late, or save an older person from the horror of that fate.  Enable me to be alert to hear the weakest shout and quickly and efficiently to put the fire out.  I want to fill my calling and to give the best in me.  To guard my neighbor and protect his property.

And if, according to your will, I have to lose my life, bless with your protecting hand my children and my wife. AMEN ...

Dedicated to all brave firefighters and In Memoriam to those who gave their lives in the line of duty.

If Prometheus was worthy of the wrath of Heaven for kindling the first fire upon earth, how ought all the Gods to honour the men who make it their professional business to put it out?

TOMMY You were always there when we needed you. No task too great or small With loving heart and willing hand, For us, you did them all. Thanks for the memories you gave us And for the times we shared We know that when you left us, You knew how much we cared. God saw you getting tired He wanted to set you free So He closed his arms around you And whispered "Come to Me". God's garden must be beautiful, For He only takes the best. We never lose the one we love, For love itself lives on. Rest in peace, dear sweet and gentle man Forever in our hearts, Until we meet again.
